Time for changes…

Posted: January 5, 2011 in Uncategorized

Shug and I are in a good place.

The grief counseling that we did through our church really helped us.

We’re communicating so much better now.

We’re also accepting that we may end up living our lives child free.

We’re not giving up,

but we are moving on.

This weekend we’re going to dismantle the nursery and return all the borrowed stuff to MyFriend.

Some stuff we’re donating to a young mother in need,

everything else will be packed up for future use or future donation.

We’re planning several trips this year.

We specifically want to go on another cruise to the Caribbean.

We also want to hit up the East Coast and the West Coast.

We’re young and childless so we’re going to make the most our time together.

No more waiting on the sidelines.

No more playing the “What if” game.

It’s about damn time!

It’s time for changes…

Happy New Year!

Three days into 2011& I’m loving it!
I’ve got a new look & a brand new attitude.
I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I’ll be back in 2011.

Hopefully without the surly attitude.

Merry Christmas,

Happy Hanukkah,

Happy Kwanzaa,

Happy Winter Solstice,

Happy New Year!

Today I’m thankful for MyMama!

I can’t find any recent pictures of her alone.

I’ve taken to calling her “Lady” instead of Mama.

She’s an amazing woman.

A true survivor.

I love ThatLady!
